Atelier Rorona: A Alquimista de Arland é um jogo de role-playing desenvolvido pelo Gust. Atelier Rorona é o décimo primeiro título da série Atelier e é o primeiro desenvolvimento para PlayStation 3 na franquia, além de ser também o primeiro a utilizar modelos tridimensionais em vez dos sprites bidimensionais utilizados nos títulos anteriores. A história do Atelier Rorona é apresentada como uma sequência de doze tarefas. Cada uma dessas tarefas corresponde a três meses da linha temporal do jogo e exige que o jogador as complete até o final do período estipulado. O jogo possui quatro modos principais de jogabilidade: um mapa de campo, uma tela de batalha, um sistema de alquimia e um sistema de visual novel.
